We are a three-season farm, and work our hardest to have products available early spring through Thanksgiving!
HOW DO WE DO IT?
We strive to be as economically and ecologically sustainable as possible. Our way of life depends on us educating ourselves on the responsible use of resources and needs of our customers.
We are learning new things about the earth, our product, and our community everyday to make our operation better. We believe that sharing this knowledge with our neighbors and customers, strengthens our local health and agricultural economy, leading to long term stability as a farm and business.
We currently practice cover cropping, crop rotation, integrated pest management, use of regionally selected and bred seed varieties, plasticulture, and season extension techniques.
These practices increase our soil's organic matter, and limit the need for supplemental irrigation and synthetic chemicals. Helping us to provide an affordable, fresh product to our customers for as long as possible!
